About me
Hi, I'm Chiara-Olivia Rinalda, the creative mind behind the colourful canvases! Originally from Vienna, I struggled through a journey called life that was riddled with OCD. But it wasn't until I was in my 20s that I found the key to freedom - therapy! And guess what I discovered? The world of colour and brushstrokes!
I would never have considered myself a master artist, but I found my passion in art therapy. Since 2017 I have been breathing life into abstract artworks. I have moved from spatulas and acrylics to the fascinating technique of casting. When I paint, I immerse myself in my own world, letting emotions dance in the colours and creating unique works of art.
My art is as spontaneous as life itself. Without any concrete plans or special projects, I just start painting. My brush follows my emotions and the colours that appeal to me at that moment find their place on the canvas. This is my way of giving space to the moment and creating authentic art.
And when I realised that other people find my art exciting and see their own stories in it, I thought: Why not share it with the world? So, voilà, here I am - ready to share my creative journey with you! And so 'Cor-Art' was born - 'Cor' not only stands for my initials, but also means 'heart' in Latin, which is perfect because my art comes straight from the heart.
In addition to my passion for art, animal welfare is also very close to my heart. I have been eating a vegan diet since 2019 and I share my life with my two cats Gioia and Azzurro, who have been with me since 2010, and Harley, a former street dog from Bosnia that I adopted in 2019.
With my art, I not only want to create visual experiences, but also make a positive contribution. That's why I donate 10% of the proceeds from every painting I sell to various animal welfare organisations. In this way, I bring art, love and responsibility together and also give my customers a cosy, good feeling in their homes.
Welcome to my journey of colours and emotions! 🎨
